Autocharge allows a charger or backend platform to recognise a vehicle automatically, usually through vehicle-side communication identifiers, so a charging session can begin without the user presenting an RFID card, opening an app or scanning a code.
Why it matters
It improves convenience, especially for fleets and repeat users, but depends on charger, vehicle and backend compatibility. It should also be assessed carefully where user identification, billing or security controls are important.
