Where customers select NexBlue equipment through participating automotive or fleet programmes, Jumptech will manage the installation process. The agreement therefore expands NexBlue’s UK route-to-market beyond conventional product distribution and direct installer sales.
Installation platforms are becoming part of charger distribution
For charger manufacturers, winning a place in an automotive or fleet programme increasingly requires more than supplying hardware. Customer surveys, installer allocation, scheduling, installation evidence, compliance workflows and handover all need to be managed consistently across a national network.
Jumptech provides that delivery layer for a range of programmes, including work with British Gas. The NexBlue partnership gives the manufacturer access to an existing installation workflow rather than requiring a separate process to be built for each vehicle or fleet partner.
NexBlue already lists several UK products
NexBlue’s UK website currently lists products including NexBlue Edge, Point 2 and Delta Max, alongside the Zen load-balancing system. The company also promotes OCPP 2.0.1 readiness, solar-surplus charging and dynamic load-management features across parts of its range.
However, the Jumptech announcement does not identify which models will be available through each automotive or fleet programme.
