Drivers who link their Clubcard number to a Be.EV account can collect one Clubcard point for every £1 spent on a completed charging session.
The partnership applies across more than 680 Be.EV sites and more than 2,500 charging bays, rather than only at the Tesco Express locations that already host Be.EV rapid chargers.
Charging becomes part of a wider loyalty ecosystem
Clubcard points can be converted into Tesco vouchers or used with participating Reward Partners in the same way as points collected through other Clubcard activity.
For Be.EV, the arrangement adds another customer-retention tool alongside charging price, location, app features and off-peak tariffs.
For Tesco, it extends Clubcard into a service that customers may use repeatedly outside its stores.
The charger is not dependent on Clubcard
The loyalty integration does not replace Be.EV’s existing payment routes. Drivers can still use the network without linking a Tesco account.
As public charging networks become more similar in power and coverage, retail loyalty schemes may become another way for CPOs to differentiate otherwise comparable charging offers.
